Spring Hike at Mohawk Lake in Sutton, Qc

Spring Hike at Mohawk Lake in Sutton, Qc

The Mohawk Lake Loop is 9.5 km, at an altitude of 732 m (elevation gain of about 200 m) and takes between 4 and 5 hours. It’s considered an intermediate hike. The gentle slope takes you to small crystal clear lake and a breathtaking view of the white mountains. In spring, it’s best to wear a net or liberally apply insect repellent. This not one of the very populated hikes, so if you are looking to get away from it all, this is for you. Pack a lunch or a snack, or even your bathing suit depending on the weather. You’ll really enjoy the lake! On this late May day, spring was in full swing and I was able to see many new buds, though I’ve no idea what they are!
